Job summary

Utah Jazz is seeking a full-time General Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager across the Zions Bank Basketball Campus, the Utah Mammoth Practice Facility, and other properties. The role involves general maintenance, repairs, and event setup, with a wage of $25 per hour.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, basic repairs, and collaboration with the maintenance team, while upholding the Utah Jazz values and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Utah driver’s license required.
• Must pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Two years of general maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining a large office building.
• Aptitude for repairs.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow procedures.
• High attention to detail and strong organization.
• Ability to work independently with focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on a scheduled and work order basis.
• Repair framing, drywall, wall prep, and painting.
• Collaborate with and support the maintenance team.
• Handle minimal plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks.
• Set up and take down for events at multiple locations.
• Uphold the company’s values and mission.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
