Job summary

The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to ensure safe and functional facilities across multiple sites serving the Merrimack Valley.

You will perform general maintenance, repairs, and small renovations, coordinate with the Facilities Supervisor, and respond promptly to staff requests to uphold a medical environment with high standards of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance including plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
• High School Diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs at all GLFHC facilities.
• Maintain and repair health center equipment under supervision.
• Respond promptly to staff maintenance requests.
• Maintain the computerized maintenance system and plan schedules.
• Assist in small renovation/construction projects and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Keep tools and grounds clean and maintained; perform snow removal as needed.
