Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lab infrastructure, mechanical systems, and HVAC test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and other mechanical components.
• Support installation and commissioning of new lab systems, including mechanical hookups and calibrations.
• Conduct safety inspections of lab utilities: chilled water, compressed air, refrigerant systems, and electrical interfaces.
• Maintain service logs, PM records, and inventory of tools and parts.
• Follow and enforce LOTO and safety protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and compliant.

Seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our engineering labs. This hands‑on role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of facility infrastructure and mechanical systems, including HVAC, lab utilities, and test equipment. The ideal candidate will have broad maintenance experience in a lab, industrial, or manufacturing setting not limited to HVAC.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lab infrastructure, mechanical systems, and HVAC test equipment

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and other mechanical components

Support installation and commissioning of new lab systems, including mechanical hookups and calibrations

Conduct safety inspections of lab utilities: chilled water, compressed air, refrigerant systems, and electrical interfaces

Maintain service logs, PM records, and inventory of tools and parts

Follow and enforce LOTO and safety protocols in accordance with regulatory standards

Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and compliant

Required Qualifications

Work Environment

Frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), ladder use, and work around mechanical equipment

Exposure to refrigerants, compressed gases, and varying temperatures

Occasional after‑hours or weekend work to support critical maintenance
