Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Maintenance professional to sustain store operations through preventive maintenance and timely fault resolution. You will oversee contractors, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, and maintain equipment across the facility.

Ideal candidates have high mechanical aptitude, a HS diploma or vocational training, and a proven ability to supervise others while delivering safe, reliable service in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High mechanical ability and broad skills in building trades.
• Enterprises experience in maintenance and repair tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to oversee contractors and maintenance staff in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs including lamp changes and fixture work.
• Carry out plumbing installations, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Maintain HVAC understanding and basic equipment operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and oversee contractors for housekeeping, landscape, pest control, etc.
• Repair building components (painting, carpentry, flooring) and support energy conservation programs.
