Job summary

St. Mary’s Food Bank on the Phoenix Campus seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine building maintenance across the site, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.

You will assist the Facilities team with repairs, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping to support operations. The role requires a High School diploma and 2+ years in building maintenance, with willingness to handle outdoor work, overtime, and shifts as listed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ building maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, concrete, appliances, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upkeep and repair of the property and grounds.
• Periodic inspections of units, buildings, and common areas, performing repairs as needed.
• Event set ups and tear downs.
• Completing work orders promptly and according to policy.
• Care, maintenance, and inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.
