Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance around SRC facilities, repair plumbing and electrical wiring, and maintain HVAC systems.

The role includes preventing future issues, addressing safety hazards, and performing light carpentry as well as seasonal snow removal and landscaping. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (two-year technical degree preferred) and proven maintenance technician experience, with knowledge of building management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Experience with building management systems and work order systems.
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Experience operating equipment such as snow blowers, lawn mowers, and hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; on-call off-hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around SRC facilities.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing.
• Repairing damaged electrical wiring.
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment.
• Applying preventative measures to reduce future problems.
• Fixing potential safety hazards.
• Light carpentry work.
• Snow removal and landscaping duties as needed.
