Job summary

Adecco Staffing is seeking a Janitor / Facilities Maintenance Associate in Westminster, CO with an in-person schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. The position offers a stable daytime schedule and a chance to contribute to a clean, safe facility for a client in Longmont, CO.

Responsibilities include inspecting emergency lighting, maintaining safety equipment, and performing routine custodial tasks. Competitive pay ($19/hour) with benefits through Adecco vary by client and location.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, maintenance, or building services experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate action.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of emergency lighting and exit signs.
• Ensure stairwell and emergency egress lighting functions properly.
• Verify fire extinguishers are accessible and ready for inspection.
• Maintain clean and sanitary common areas, restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and shared spaces.
• Identify and address safety hazards and fallen hazards.
• Report damaged equipment and address safety hazards.
• Keep hallways and emergency routes clear and safe.
