Job summary

Micron is seeking candidates in Manassas, VA, to perform preventative maintenance on complex facilities equipment and respond swiftly to restore operations after faults. You will work with AI-powered tools to analyze trends, assess alarms, and document maintenance activities, contributing to reliability and efficiency of Micron facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment.
• Deliver efficient and skilled response to restore equipment to service as soon as possible after a system failure.
• Identify and respond to alarm conditions.
• Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues.
• Identify and resolve chronic equipment alarm issues.
• Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and enhance system stability.
• Maintain records on testing and calibrations of equipment.
• Assist with installation, modification, repair and removal of facilities equipment.
• Provide a high level of service with strong customer focus and build effective relationships with supported teams.
• Use AI-powered tools daily to improve troubleshooting, diagnostics, documentation, data analysis, and maintenance planning.
• Leverage AI to analyze equipment trends, identify failure patterns, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Use AI-assisted tools to develop procedures, generate technical documentation, summarize maintenance activities, and improve knowledge management.
• Installs, maintains and repairs facility electrical equipment and systems.
• Installs electrical equipment and fixtures including circuit breakers, controllers, switches, motors, meters, conduit, relays, transmission systems and the like.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and follows verbal instructions to plan and layout conduit, install transmission equipment and ensure proper operation of installed electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions to isolate and repair electrical problems.
• Uses a variety of test equipment to determine electrical transmission and operation problems.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools to install and repair electrical equipment, fixtures and transmission systems.
• Apply AI and advanced analytics to improve reliability, calibration management, AI Assistant predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency.
