Job summary

American Repair Maintenance (ARM) is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Green Bay, WI to join our service delivery team. You will handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and flooring tasks across a designated territory, with occasional overnight travel and up to 2000 miles per week, earning a competitive hourly rate.

You should have 5+ years of commercial maintenance experience, a high school diploma or vocational cert, be comfortable reading blueprints, and able to lift up

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial maintenance across plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry and flooring; able to read blueprints.
• Own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and essential hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and operate tools producing up to 200 pounds of torque.
• Flexible with on-call, overnight and weekend schedules; travel up to 2000 miles per week.
• Proficient with industry software, mobile apps and documenting service activities.

We are currently searching for a Facilities Maintenance Technician, reporting to a Territory Supervisor, to add to our service delivery team to deliver the highest standard of commercial maintenance and customer service to our clients. This is a perfect opportunity for a passionate, skilled commercial technician who is a detail-oriented, self-starter who enjoys travel, variety, autonomy, and being a part of a supportive, growing company.

In this role, you will be able to jump in and make an immediate impact. Specifically, you will:

• Utilize your 5+ years of commercial maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, drywalling, carpentry, and flooring in addition to your high school diploma or equivalent vocational certification(s), proven mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in reading assembly and blueprint drawings to deliver exceptional service to our customers with minimal direct supervision.
• Be the eyes and ears in the field, responsible for successfully completing service tickets in a designated territory in a cost-conscious, high-quality, timely manner.
• Maintain clear lines of professional communication with lead technician(s), supervisor(s), manager(s), and office staff on open issues and progress of all work assigned including thorough documentation.
• Be flexible and cooperative with fellow employees and customers while displaying a high level of professionalism.
• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure proper and safe working conditions.
• With paid mileage reimbursement, drive up to 500-2000 miles per week to client sites.
• Meet the demands of a flexible and adaptable schedule, including on-call, overnight, and weekend availability; some assignments may require short overnight travel (1–4 nights).
• Provide your own reliable transportation with capacity to transport tools and equipment (e.g. 16 ft., ladder, sheet rock, sewer machine), valid driver’s license, hand tools, and toolbox suitable for the job (a list of those recommended will be provided).
• Comfortable and proficient with technology, including the use of industry-specific software, mobile applications, and digital tools to complete work orders, communicate with team members, and document service activities.
• Be able to lift equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; operating appropriate tools capable of producing up to 200 pounds of torque.
