Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II for the Neuro Expansion at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This role supports the Facilities Engineering-Operations team in an expanding, state-of-the-art 1-million-square-foot Neurological Institute facility on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical repair OR completion of formal training in building repair OR military experience as Utilitiesman/Builder/Machinist Mate.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, structures, and systems.
• Perform minor maintenance repair work in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and/or painting.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will join a team that will provide you with a good foundational knowledge of facilities and maintenance in the healthcare field.

A caregiver in this position works10:30pm to 7:00am, Tuesday through Saturday. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Performpreventive and corrective maintenance of equipment,structures,and systems.

• Perform minor maintenance repair work in electrical, plumbing, HVAS, carpentry,and/or paint.

• Perform utility and structural repairs.

• Document andmaintainrecords of inspection and work performed.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Two years of experience in HVAC, general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical repair OR completion of a formal training program in building repair includingHVAC, general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical repair OR military experience as aUtilitiesman, Builder, MachinistsMateor a similar role.
