Job summary

Astemo is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliable operation of our US facility and equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and sustain production quality.

The role requires hands-on ability with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, a 3+ year track record, and a focus on safety and ISO 14001 compliance. Second shift hours are 2:00 pm–10:00 pm with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC.
• Preferred: EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Preferred: 2 years of plumbing and electrical experience.
• Experience in machine maintenance in manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machines according to schedules.
• Replace or repair belts, bearings, motors, or sensors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ISO 14001 environmental standards.
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize disruptions.
