Job Description

This individual is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical aspects of building/grounds and facility equipment related to trades, including HVAC, boilers, utility systems, pump & piping systems, and basic plumbing. Work must comply with current regulatory guidelines, laws, company policies, and safety standards. Activities include:

• Facility equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Preventative maintenance work orders
• Routine inspections and system checks
• General non-routine work requests
• Moving equipment
• Equipment rebuilding

Job duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Complete work orders and collaborate across shifts.
• Identify and escalate facility issues.
• Suggest and implement process and productivity improvements.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Current Special Boiler Operators license from Minnesota.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook).
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and systems knowledge.
• Physical requirements include lifting, standing, pushing/pulling, working in confined spaces, and wearing PPE.
• Ability to work 40+ hours, including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts.
• Respirator and safety compliance, including medical clearance and proper grooming for respirator use.
