Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform a broad range of general maintenance tasks across hospital buildings and grounds. This role involves repairing, replacing and installing components of hospital infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing and carpentry work, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• One year of building maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul and construction duties.
• Carry out tasks in trades such as sheet metal, plumbing, carpentry, tile setting, painting, electrical, roof maintenance.
• Maintain records and report issues to supervisor; follow safety rules.
• Move materials and respond to work orders; participate in snow removal and sanding.
• Keep work area clean and secure the lock and key system.
