Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance professional to inspect, operate and maintain physical facilities, equipment and utilities at the Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role is onsite with evenings shifts, offering competitive pay and comprehensive total rewards.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, relevant licensure, and 3 years of related experience. Onsite work includes coordination with contractors and adherence to safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, operates and maintains physical facilities, equipment, systems and utilities.
• Operates and maintains equipment, facilities and systems to ensure a safe environment of care. Records and reports work performed.
• Accesses roof areas, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels and crawl spaces daily. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs building equipment and facilities.
• Performs general industrial maintenance including fabrication, installation and inspections of equipment and devices, some healthcare specific.
• May include service on plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical, pneumatic tubes, lighting, flooring, walls and more.
• Performs periodic inspections of buildings and makes repair recommendations. Adheres to trade practices and codes.
• Must work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

• Pay: $23.49 - $30.53 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
• This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Inspects, operates and maintains physical facilities, equipment, systems and utilities.

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains equipment, facilities and systems to ensure a safe environment of care. Accurately records and reports work performed.

Accesses roof areas, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels, crawl spaces and other minimally accessible areas on a daily basis. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs building equipment and facilities. Works with contractors; reads and interprets blueprints and manufacturer's specifications.

Performs general industrial maintenance including fabrication, installation and inspections of equipment and devices , some being specific to the healthcare environment. May include service or repair work on plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical systems, pneumatic tube, lighting, flooring, window coverings, walls and other systems.

Performs periodic inspections of buildings and makes recommendations on needed repairs, installation, etc. Adheres to trade practices and codes.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
