Johnny's Selected Seeds is seeking a Technician I – Maintenance to maintain and safeguard building systems, equipment, and facilities. The role includes general upkeep, housekeeping, and support for events, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and safety compliance.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, transportation/logistics support, and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure efficient operations on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training preferred.
• Experience in facility maintenance including drywall, flooring, painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and basic electrical.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Familiarity with building security systems, cameras and access controls.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles (including box trucks).
