Job summary

Tuerk House is a non-profit behavioral health system in Baltimore seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient facility operations. You will handle repairs, inspections, and equipment maintenance across buildings and grounds, while coordinating with contractors as needed.

The role requires basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, plus CMMS proficiency and a valid Maryland driver's license. Weekend or after-hours work may be required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Maryland driver's license.
• Minimum of three years in maintenance; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring for issues.
• Install appliances and equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Oversee contractors for complex repairs.
• Assist with transportation of clients and carrying packages.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls when scheduled.
