Job summary

Purdue Research Foundation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repair and maintenance tasks across multiple properties. The role requires HVAC experience, EPA certification, and the ability to operate vehicles and heavy equipment while ensuring safety and quality.

You will tackle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds keeping, and housekeeping duties, supporting city inspections and tenant readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of repair and maintenance experience.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by Purdue carriers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repair and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds keeping, moving, and housekeeping for commercial units.
• Drive PRF truck daily to various locations to perform maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot and test components using proper equipment.
• Replace worn and defective parts using proper hand and power tools.
• Move PRF‑owned furniture and appliances between properties as needed.
