Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Cincinnati campus with maintenance and repairs to building systems and fixtures. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands-on problem solving within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and related equipment; reading blueprints; using hand tools and testing equipment; operating lifts and forklifts; and adhering to LOTO and PPE

Qualifications

Fluent English
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs regularly
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
Must be able to stand for long durations

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, lighting, power distribution, plumbing, drywall, painting, doors, pumps, and dock levelers.
Interact with fire protection systems and generator applications.
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Read and understand blueprints and technical manuals when needed.
Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers for tasks.
Occasionally operate forklifts and pallet jacks; use scissor and boom lifts as required.
Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Maintain a detail-oriented and self-starting attitude and work unsupervised.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
