Job summary

Consertus-US is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Orlando to perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems. You will work with facility managers and project teams to keep operations safe, efficient, and compliant, addressing issues as they arise.

The role requires 2+ years in facility or building maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC knowledge, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of facility/building maintenance experience.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner, documenting work performed, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Support installation, setup, and relocation of equipment and machinery as needed.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and tools; place orders as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours or on-call situations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or servicing.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment service records.
