Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC experience and certifications are highly desired.
• Prior maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have a clean driving record for the past three years and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and buildings of the library system.
• Perform routine or preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work.
• Paint and repair drywall to maintain appearance and functionality.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Drive vehicles to various locations within the STPL service area as needed or directed.
• Collaborate with library staff to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to services.
