Walmart is seeking a Facilities Maintenance technician at our Cordova, TN location to perform preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures. You will inspect, repair, and document wear, manage parts and suppliers, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Walmart quality standards.

The role involves operating heavy machinery and vehicles, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring timely, safe completion of maintenance tasks.

Formación

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Observes and documents signs of wear and tear; gathers capital expense information and recommends repairs.
• Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors with required documentation.
• Orders parts and replacement equipment and tracks orders; submits warranty claims.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations; Walmart quality standards and safety requirements.
• Operates heavy machinery and vehicles per training and safety procedures; coordinates and transports vehicles for maintenance.
