Walmart Inc. in Rockwood, TN is seeking an Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance to perform routine preventive maintenance across facilities and equipment.

You will inspect, repair, and document maintenance activities while coordinating with contractors and handling work orders. You will operate heavy machinery and company vehicles, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Formación

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations within the last three years.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment while documenting wear, repair needs, and replacement requirements.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and company vehicles following safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Order parts, track purchases, submit warranty claims, and conduct price comparisons to support maintenance operations.
• Identify hazards, report deficiencies, and take corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with teams to implement processes that meet business needs and promote continuous improvement.
