Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience: 1+ years in facilities, building maintenance, or related trades preferred.
• Basic computer skills for email, calendars, work orders, and simple records.
• Willingness to learn and apply safety and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building systems.
• Identify and communicate potential issues early and propose solutions.
• Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and document work.
• Handle day-to-day work orders for offices, labs, and clinical spaces.
• Assist vendors with site access and setup for work.
• Set up/break down rooms for meetings and events.
• Maintain clean storage, inventory, and supplies records.
• Follow safety rules, OSHA requirements, and use PPE as required.
