Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Service Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform maintenance tasks, execute work orders, and support preventative maintenance to ensure our property is well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. You will work independently, helping maintain a clean and orderly environment while ensuring high standards for our residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance, including apartment maintenance.
• Ability to support a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders in a timely manner, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Close out work orders in the system, including using system tools for tracking.
• Assist in property turn process and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Conduct inspections of public areas and resident apartments.
• Safely operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment.
• Assist vendors by escorting them on-site.
• Maintain clean and orderly shop, storage, and back-of-house environment.
• Assist with curb appeal, trash collection, and cleaning.
