Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Yuma, AZ is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local team, performing routine maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.

Under supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will inspect, repair, and maintain required systems, adhere to schedules, and contribute to a clean, safe store environment. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have vocational/technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, MHE, or related area.
• Or 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, MHE, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass MVR.
• No major driving violations in last 5 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, MHE) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Vocational or Technical certification

2 years experience in plumbing/electrical/related trade
