Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair store facilities, equipment, and assets. You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, following schedules and guidelines, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs to ensure safety and functionality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year of trades experience or 2 years total work experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trades.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Must maintain an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts and tools.
• Utilize work order system to receive and document reactive repair work orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose issues with facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
