Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Madera, CA is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart facilities and fixtures.

You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, following schedules and inspections to repair and maintain assets. The role requires 18+ years, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have vocational/technical certification and 1 year in trades, or 2 years total in trades.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
