Job summary

Georg Fischer LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated facility maintenance assistant to keep our production areas safe, clean and efficient. You will assemble, repair and move furniture, perform routine HVAC checks and report complex maintenance needs to the Manager.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and about one year of related experience. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a high-volume factory environment and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facilities are available for use and maintained in a safe, clean condition.
• Assembles, repairs and moves furniture and related fittings.
• Inspects HVAC units, replaces filters and reports maintenance needs.
• Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security and reports hazards.
• Performs custodial tasks and cleans spills around machinery.
• Assists with pest control measures and monitors inventory.
• Supports special events and other duties as assigned.
