Job summary

McDonald's is seeking a dependable Maintenance Person to help keep our restaurant clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role is responsible for general facility upkeep, basic equipment care, and supporting a great guest experience by maintaining a clean and well-functioning environment.

Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, kitchen, and exterior areas (including parking lot, roof, and dumpster area).

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable performing physical work (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to follow checklists, safety rules, and cleaning procedures.
• Basic mechanical/handyman skills preferred (training provided).
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, kitchen, and exterior areas (including parking lot, roof, and dumpster area).
• Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and deep cleaning.
• Complete basic building and grounds upkeep (light repairs, changing bulbs/filters, minor touch ups).
• Assist with equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance per company procedures and standards.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Support opening/closing and special cleaning projects as needed.
