Job summary

Iowa Select Farms is seeking full-time Repair and Maintenance personnel to oversee facility maintenance across the region. You will collaborate with the site manager to ensure optimal facility performance and use a work ticket system to prioritize repairs.

The role expects capability in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and welding, with on-site work using hand and power tools. This is a full-time position with biweekly pay and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Adhere to all company biosecurity, animal well-being and safety policies.
• Lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and climb gates up to 48 inches.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Able to work rotating on-call weekends.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance for the region and production system.
• Work with site manager/production supervisor to keep facilities operating well.
• Use work ticket system to track and prioritize repairs.
• Demonstrate knowledge in construction methods including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and welding.
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs.
