Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic regular preventative maintenance tasks independently (changing filters, inspection and testing of control valves/dampers, adjusting building automation control parameters)
• Assists in minor repairs and maintenance of ventilation fans, boilers and chiller equipment
• Operates and maintains water and wastewater treatment plant systems and collects samples per permits
• Responds to faults in facility operating systems during and after hours on-call rotation
• Performs general grounds maintenance including seasonal tasks and snow removal
• Performs minor electrical repairs (troubleshooting, replacing switches/fixtures)
• Performs basic plumbing repairs (valves, leaks, softener systems)
• Performs general maintenance including painting and light carpentry
