Position Summary
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Creative Modular Construction, you are a crucial part of the team ensuring that our modular construction facilities, production environments, and support spaces operate seamlessly. Your responsibilities directly impact the safety, efficiency, and creative adaptability of our workspaces. Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and modular manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure consistent upkeep of building interiors and exteriors, including structural components, parking areas, signage, and common areas.
- Troubleshoot facility systems issues quickly and accurately to minimize downtime.
Operational Readiness
- Maintain readiness of modular production environments, including utilities, compressed air systems, ventilation, and lighting.
- Ensure tools and machines are calibrated, clean, and in proper working order.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate with external service providers for inspections, major repairs, and scheduled upgrades.
- Oversee contractor work for compliance with safety and quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all OSHA standards and environmental, health, and safety policies.
- Support emergency preparedness, including evacuation planning, fire safety, and incident response.
Recordkeeping & Process Improvement
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, asset performance, and repair logs.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements to maintenance programs, sustainability efforts, and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; vocational training or technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Facility Systems) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or an industrial environment, preferably construction or modular manufacturing.
- Demonstrated mechanical skills and knowledge of building infrastructure systems.
- Proficient in using hand/power tools, digital maintenance systems, and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision.

Working Conditions
- Physical demands include frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking, climbing ladders, and working in outdoor and production settings.
- May be required to work after hours or weekends for emergency repairs.
