Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its Fulfillment Center operations in Utah. You will perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, diagnose issues, and perform minor mechanical repairs to ensure reliable distribution processes.

Responsibilities include following structured maintenance schedules, clearing jams, basic building upkeep, and collaborating with teams to keep the FC running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial or maintenance technology OR 2+ years of maintenance experience in facilities, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity including motors, sensors, and protective devices.
• Experience with hand and power tools (drills, fasteners, saws) in a facilities or distribution environment.
• Willing to climb to elevated levels and lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs on FC equipment.
• Follow structured preventive maintenance systems to maintain machinery per manufacturer recommendations.
• Clear jams and maintain efficient operation of material handling equipment.
• Perform general building maintenance such as lamp replacement, wiring, and overhead doors repair.
