Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and related systems. You will troubleshoot issues, respond to emergencies, and keep detailed maintenance records to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires reading schematics and blueprints, lifting heavy loads, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Trade school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Must be able to read schematics and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems and take corrective action.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leaks.
• Maintain equipment with standard preventative maintenance procedures.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Maintain records on all equipment maintenance and repair.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
