Job summary

Unrivaled Sports in New Jersey is seeking a Facilities assistant to support the maintenance team, keeping the complex in top condition under the Facilities Manager.

You will help with buildings and equipment, care for artificial surfaces and bases, and ensure clubhouse and outdoor areas are clean for events.

This role requires early starts (as early as 6 am), ability to work nights/weekends, and strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation to be at work as early as 6 am and stay as late as 12 am.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Must follow instructions given by any full-time staff member.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to learn and be responsible for new tasks.
• Ability to be held accountable and complete tasks to standards.
• Pride of workmanship and strong communication in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility assets, including buildings and equipment.
• Perform general care and maintenance of artificial playing surfaces, mounds, and bases.
• Clean clubhouse, restrooms, and outdoor areas of the park before, during, and after events.
• Empty and remove trash cans throughout the complex.
• Remove loose trash from the complex, including the parking lot.
• Tend to water and Gatorade coolers in each dugout during programming.
• Perform any other duties assigned to ensure the success of the complex.
