Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Hawaii in Honolulu is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across our cafe and property. You will ensure the integrity of building systems and cosmetic appeal while supporting daily operations.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC-related tasks and respond to alarm conditions; travel for site visits as needed; must be able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general maintenance on facility equipment.
• Ability to monitor and respond to fire panel alarms.
• Basic plumbing skills and repairs.
• Basic troubleshooting for kitchen and restaurant equipment.
• Basic electrical repairs and breaker resets.
• Learn energy management system and temp control.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists
• Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders
• Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds
• Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion
• Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
