Job summary

Vista Packaging and Logistics in Columbus, OH, is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Associate to support the safe operation of packaging and warehouse equipment. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, adjustments, cleaning, and minor repairs under on-the-job training.

Work closely with Operations to minimize downtime, maintain production flow, and keep equipment and work areas safe and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn how equipment works.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform routine maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on non-complex packaging and material-handling equipment.
• Lubrication, cleaning, belt/component replacement, and other routine tasks.
• Troubleshoot common equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain maintenance logs and document completed work.
• Coordinate with Operations and vendors to support equipment reliability.
• Support setup, changeovers, relocation, and installation of basic components.
