Job summary

Straight and Narrow in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Worker for Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm. Perform maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep at residential/outpatient facilities and community programs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and inclement weather shifts may be required; full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights and weekends when needed.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and general building upkeep.
• Repair toilet flush systems and install fixtures.
• Install faucets and clean drains.
• Repair holes in walls and repaint surfaces.
• Operate HVAC systems and replace filters as needed.
• Maintain building security and respond to emergencies; follow fire and safety plans.
