Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Aitkin, MN. The role offers an hourly pay rate of $25.00–$30.00 with a 1st shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

You will maintain and repair both production and office areas, ensuring equipment and facilities are well maintained. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, tools experience, and a hands-on approach to repairs.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools recommended.
• Basic knowledge of general carpentry and repair required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills needed.
• Ability to independently identify and address maintenance needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others throughout the facility.
• Manufacturing facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and troubleshoot air compressors.
• Perform general routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor lighting.
• Inspect, monitor, and clean camera systems.
• Assist with plumbing needs, eyewash stations, overhead heaters, and other facility equipment.
• Complete general office repairs, including patching and painting walls, maintaining office furniture, and replacing light switches and outlets.
• Perform general groundskeeping and identify repair, replacement, or upgrade needs.
• Coordinate outside service needs for HVAC and roof-related maintenance.
• Communicate with external lawn care and snow removal providers.
• Support the Maintenance Department with projects and additional tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve facility maintenance needs.
