Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician role is responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment, within the Engineering and Technical Services function. You will provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliable operation of building systems.

You will perform ongoing preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, assist with installation and modification of equipment, and review work orders to track completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and coordinate with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures and exchange straightforward information clearly under supervision.
• Deliver output by adhering to defined procedures and processes under close supervision.
