Job summary

WellPower in the Greater Denver Metro area is seeking a journey-level Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist the Facilities Manager in keeping all properties properly maintained, serviced, and repaired, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and document work performed, parts used, and time spent.

The role requires five years of hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to work with little supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years hands-on experience in building maintenance, construction, or HVAC controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance work performed by contractors and vendors at WellPower facilities; advise Facilities Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician of work and any issues.
• Respond to emergencies by contacting service contractor and Facilities Manager; take corrective measures to prevent hazards.
• Perform walk-through inspections of assigned WellPower sites to identify damage and required repairs.
• Complete maintenance work orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain landscaping; notify when landscaping services are not performed timely; assist with snow/ice removal as needed.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs such as replacing washers and clearing small blockages.
• Perform minor electrical repairs such as changing ballasts and replacing receptacles.
• Perform minor repairs to walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, etc.; replace bulbs and filters as needed.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and log service dates.
• Rotating on-call coverage with paid time if response necessary.
• Other duties as assigned
