B Street Collision in Omaha, NE is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist our Maintenance Manager with upkeep across locations. The role involves building maintenance, general labor, and supporting shop equipment maintenance to keep facilities safe and efficient.

You will perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical trades, maintain grounds, and respond to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, construction, facilities, or a related trade preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repairs of company buildings and facilities.
• Perform general labor including painting, cleaning, organizing, and property upkeep.
• Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of shop equipment.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain the appearance of company grounds, parking lots, and exterior areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests from shop locations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Help with facility improvement projects and preventative maintenance.
• Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
