Facilities Maintenance Technician 2nd & 3rd shift openings

This position involves troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, and preventative maintenance on facility, packaging, and process equipment. The goal is to ensure safe and efficient production, with responsibilities including executing work orders, supporting safety and food safety standards, and driving operational improvements.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working under time constraints and managing priorities
  • Must troubleshoot manufacturing controls such as PLC, AC Motor Drives, Rockwell Automation, etc.
  • Ability to read as-built drawings, blueprints, maintenance logs, and electrical diagrams
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Fundamental computer skills; knowledge of CMMS preferred
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of production line equipment
  • Skills in welding, fabrication, pneumatics/hydraulics, machinery rebuilding, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of steam and pressure line repairs, air compressors, and filtration systems
  • Familiarity with lock-out/tag-out procedures and a strong safety mindset

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Additional certifications/licenses preferred
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing, facility, or industrial experience, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Overtime may be required based on work demand
  • Occasional lifting over 50 pounds
  • Own tools required
  • Potential exposure to flour/sugar dust; PPE provided
  • Loud noise levels in some areas
  • Majority of time spent on the plant floor, including outdoor and elevated areas
  • Must wear PPE such as hair nets, beard nets, safety shoes, etc.

Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on skills and experience
