Isana is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance position at their Home Office in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position involves inspecting buildings, performing minor electrical and plumbing maintenance, and assisting with various repairs. The candidate must possess a high school diploma and two years of experience in facility maintenance.

The pay ranges from $20.00 to $30.25 per hour. Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision is essential. Candidates must complete a background check and be fully vaccinated.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years working experience in facility maintenance
• Candidates must pass a LiveScan background check, Tuberculosis test, and be fully vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance including fixtures.
• Conduct minor plumbing maintenance.
• Assist in minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
• Reconfigure and install necessary equipment to maximize office space.
• Clean classrooms and other work areas as necessary.
• Assist with asset management and maintenance of inventories.

Job Details: Job Location: ISANA Home Office - Los Angeles, CA 90010. Position Type: Full Time. Education Level: High School. Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.25 hourly. Travel Percentage: Up to 50%. Job Shift: Any. Job Category: Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations.
• Performs or assists in minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
• Performs or assists minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).
• Performs or assists minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.).
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts necessary equipment (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks.
• Clean classrooms and offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas, as necessary.
• Assist with asset management and maintenance of inventories.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• May need to work evenings or weekends, as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Two years working experience in facility maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry is a plus.

Signing Bonus Notice

This position is eligible for a signing bonus, paid for in two installments in January and July. Eligibility for each installment requires active employment with ISANA on the payment date. Signing bonuses may be prorated based on start date or unpaid leave status and are subject to applicable taxes. Employees who separate from ISANA prior to the end of a bonus period will not be eligible for that installment.

Pay Range Notice

The posted pay range represents the full range for this classified position. Final placement is contingent upon verification of prior experience through completion of the required Verification of Experience (VOE) form. Credit for prior experience requires having worked at least 85% of the applicable employment period.
