LER TechForce is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the night shift at our automotive manufacturing client in Warsaw, IN. The role encompasses hands-on maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems to ensure continuous operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in facilities maintenance in industrial settings, reads blueprints, and possesses strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• 3+ years in facilities maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience with construction, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Inspect and repair facility infrastructure including walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with in-house construction projects including framing, drywall, and finish work.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized construction tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, lighting, and control systems.
• Maintain and repair plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Follow safety protocols and document maintenance activities.

What you will be doing:

The Maintenance Technician - Night Shift is a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of our automotive manufacturing facility. This role requires hands‑on expertise in facilities maintenance, construction, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. The ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson with a strong work ethic, problem‑solving ability, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Facilities Maintenance

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Inspect and repair facility infrastructure including walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with in-house construction projects including framing, drywall, and finish work.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized construction tasks.

Electrical Systems

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, lighting, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Plumbing & HVAC

• Maintain and repair plumbing systems including water supply and drainage.
• Service HVAC systems to ensure proper heating, cooling, and ventilation.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with construction, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, and basic computer skills.
