Job summary

Centennial Bank is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support branch locations with maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general upkeep, ensuring tools and vehicles remain ready for use. You may respond to emergencies during and after hours and complete work requests in Service Now.

You will also manage logs, coordinate with contractors, and uphold safety and quality standards across the branch network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, and operate appropriate ladders and/or lifts, as needed.
• Ability to read blue prints, identify projects for outside contractors, maintain work logs and service requests.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finished carpentry repair of structures, including partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs, and shelves.
• Perform electrical repair work for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, appliances, and lighting systems.
• Identify and repair plumbing leaks or breaks, clear clogs, replace seals, and maintain foundations.
• Repair, replace, and maintain hot water heaters and other appliances.
• Prepare surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain.
• Remove or paint over graffiti.
• Report unsafe electrical conditions.
• Repair wall coverings.
• Maintain assigned vehicle.
• Respond to emergencies during regular and after hours.
• Clean drive-thru lanes and ATMs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on branches and equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work sites.
• HVAC knowledge and repairs.
• Maintain paperwork and receipts.
• Repair or replace flooring such as carpet tiles or Luxury vinyl tile.
• Complete assigned tickets via Service Now.
• Maintain and protect assigned laptop.
• Perform locksmith duties.
• Move furniture and equipment.
• Maintain shared storage and warehouse space.
• Snow and ice removal and parking lot striping.
• Perform any other related duties as required.
• Complete required BSA/AML training and all other required trainings.

Job Description

The job of Facilities Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting skilled trades; and ensuring that tools, materials, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at branch locations when needed.

• Applies and prepares various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain.
• Removes or paints over graffiti.
• Reports unsafe electrical conditions.
• Repairs wall coverings.
• Maintain assigned vehicle.
• Respond to emergency situations during regular working hours and after hours, for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Clean drive-thru lanes and ATMs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on branches and equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work sites.
• HVAC knowledge and repairs.
• Maintain paperwork and receipts.
• Repairs or replaces flooring such as carpet tiles or luxury vinyl tile.
• Complete assigned tickets in a timely manner via Service Now.
• Maintain and protect assigned laptop computer.
