Job summary

Continental Springs in South Sioux City, Nebraska, is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for our Skilled Nursing facility. You will perform repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and help maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff.

This hands-on role supports the daily operation of the facility and resident comfort. You will respond to emergencies, manage repair supplies, and assist the Maintenance Manager with inspections and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience performing building repairs and basic systems maintenance.
• Ability to methodically troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance in healthcare settings.
• Wamiliarity with inventory of repair supplies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures to reduce downtime.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete inspections of offices and laboratories with Maintenance Manager.
• Respond quickly in emergencies, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
