Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to perform a wide variety of maintenance duties, ensuring safe and efficient operation of our facilities. This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship.

Use hand and portable tools, repair facilities including drywall, tile, floors, lighting, and plumbing. Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety rules; assist in moving furniture and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 5 years work experience equivalency).
• Minimum of two years prior facilities maintenance training and experience.
• Fluent English essential for understanding and applying maintenance procedures.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and others; maintain routine records.
• No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and portable power tools, material handling equipment, and machine tools to complete tasks.
• Repair facilities, including removal and replacement of drywall, tile and floors; paint walls and woodwork.
• Repair and install fixtures such as hanging boards and doors; replace/repair lighting and perform minor related electrical work.
• Perform plumbing duties: inspect, install and replace pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain compressed air, water, gas, and drainage systems; cut, bend, thread pipe; fit pipes with adjoining assemblies; caulk leaks, open clogged drains; install sinks and toilets.
• Identify needed supplies/materials and requisition them.
• Perform duties in compliance with standard operating and safety procedures.
• Assist in moving furniture, files and other equipment from one location to another.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 5 years work experience equivalency) required.

• Working knowledge of facilities, furniture, plumbing and fixture repair and skill operating associated tools.
• Fluent English essential for understanding and applying complex maintenance manual procedures.

Physical Requirements

Stand/walk during most of the shift; pull, push, squat, etc. Intermittently lift loads up to 50 pounds.

Environment

Intermittent exposure to noise levels loud enough to require hearing protection in designated areas; periodic exposure to warm or cold temperatures, fumes, vibration, dust, etc. The employee may be required to wear a uniform, hair net, safety glasses, steel‑toed shoes, dust mask, respirator, protective gloves and back support as necessary.

Must perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Compensation & Benefits

National Target Base Pay Range: $63,000.00 – $105,000.00. For California and NewYork metro areas: $71,000.00 – $118,000.00. Actual compensation considers location, education, experience, qualifications and job‑related skills. Base pay is one component; total rewards may include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) match, and other wellness benefits.
