Job summary

Tweezerman International, LLC in Port Washington, NY is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator to maintain a safe, clean, and functional work environment. You'll perform routine maintenance across building and grounds, manage supply inventory, and coordinate service calls with contractors, while supporting records and admin duties.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, and comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and be motivated to propose efficiency and improvement ideas.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; Basic Microsoft Excel experience required.
• Strong maintenance and repair experience required; commercial facilities experience preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety; OSHA Certification a plus.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management both written and verbal.
• Must be able to utilize a ladder and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily walkthrough of parking lots for trash and safety concerns.
• Respond to safety, emergency or maintenance issues, prioritizing to minimize disruption.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to building and equipment (plumbing, painting, patching).
• Set up and organize new hires or office moves.
• Set up/tear down chairs, tables, and equipment for meetings and trainings.
