Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of related maintenance experience or trade certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical fields.
• Basic understanding of Windows software and preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Use CMMP to manage work orders.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and medical equipment.
• Interface with project management during occupancy transitions.
• Respond to emergencies (fire, water leaks, outages, elevator entrapments) and coordinate with security and emergency services.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and maintain regulatory documentation (e.g., JCAHO).
• Dispose of hazardous waste following safety protocols.
• Drive a vehicle as needed and participate in rotating on-call shifts.

Job description

Role: Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of building systems and equipment, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, sterilizers, life safety devices, and specialized medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Program (CMMP) to manage work orders.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as refrigeration, Nurse call, R.O. equipment, electrical circuits, water systems, and medical equipment.
• Interface with project management during occupancy transitions.
• Respond to emergency situations like fire, water leaks, utility outages, and elevator entrapments, coordinating with security and emergency services.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and maintain documentation for regulatory standards such as JCAHO.
• Disposal of hazardous waste following safety protocols.
• Drive a vehicle as needed and work on a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least three years of related maintenance experience or trade certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical fields.
• Basic understanding of Windows software and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and communicate effectively.
• Customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Additional Information: Prior hospital or clinic maintenance experience is preferred. This role does not offer visa sponsorship or participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension.
